About me and my experience

I have worked in mental health services for 25 years. I initially trained as a doctor and through working in psychiatry developed an interest in psychological therapies. I qualified as a psychotherapist in 1999 and see people for individual therapy as well as couples. I provide supervision and training. I work with people who have stress, anxiety, depression; people with relationship problems, or those who are coping with change, loss or trauma, people who have eating disorders or who self harm. I have worked in a specialist service for people with chronic fatigue syndrome.

Qualifications

MBChB, Dip Psychotherapy, Association of Cognitive Analytic Therapy, accredited psychotherapist & supervisor.

UKCP registered psychotherapist
